Handles suitable for vibration exciter APS 113, APS 400 and APS 420 vibration exciters.

Reaction masses for APS exciters — compatible with models APS 113, APS 400 and APS 420 — extend performance into lower frequency ranges while allowing either horizontal or vertical force to be applied directly through the shaker body. 

With an armature weight of 13.2 kg (29 lb) and a total system weight of 47 kg (103 lb), they provide the stability and inertia needed for precise, controlled excitation. Using two blocks, sufficient reaction mass is achieved to deliver the rated force down to 1.8 Hz, even in free body mode.

The modal stinger kit provides a precise connection between the shaker armature and the test structure, ensuring efficient transmission of axial force while minimizing unwanted cross-axis inputs caused by complex motion. 

Designed for optimal decoupling, the stingers perform best at their maximum effective length and are available in four different sizes to suit a wide range of setups. Compatible with APS 113, APS 113-AB, APS 400 and APS 420 vibration exciters, the kit is built for durability and can withstand axial forces of up to 900 N (200 lbf), making it ideal for reliable and accurate modal testing.

The APS steel cable kit enables operation in “Free Body Mode,” allowing the shaker body itself to act as the reaction mass for efficient force transmission to the test structure. 

By suspending the shaker above ground with robust suspension lines, it provides a flexible and convenient setup for applying force parallel to horizontal surfaces. Compatible with APS 113, APS 113-AB, APS 400 and APS 420 exciters, the kit includes four sets of suspension lines for stable operation. For optimal force transfer to the test structure, it can be combined with a modal stinger kit.
