Power Amplifiers designed for APS ELECTRO-SEIS® Long Stroke Shakers
The DUAL-MODE Power Amplifiers are designed specifically to provide drive power for electrodynamic shakers. The amplifiers have features which make them uniquely suited for studying the dynamic characteristics of structures.
They may be operated in either a voltage or current amplifier mode, selectable from the front panel. A remote control 'Mute' input allows to remove the drive signal while the amplifier mode is retained. This feature can be used e.g. for observation of resonance decay in structures.

For all vibration exciters that require a 180 VA power amplifier (load impedance 0.8 Ω). The PA 180 DM offers a max. frequency range DC ... 100 kHz, small harmonic distortion, excellent stability even with temperature or supply line variations and helpful protection functions.
